Austrian Vienna Philharmonic 1 ounce Silver Coin is the first ever silver bullion coin to be denominated in Euros.
This coin is struck by The Austrian Mint in Vienna, in which her first issue was in February 2008.
The obverse depicts the great organ in the Golden Hall in Vienna’s Musikverein Concert Hall, the home of the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. The border of the coin features the words “Republik Oesterreich” on the top. At the bottom of the coin, the denomination “1 Unze”, the purity of the coin “Feinsilber”, the year of mintage “2016” and the face value “1,5 Euros” is indicated.
The reverse displays the popular design of the Philharmonic bouquet of instruments. The border of the coin features the words “Wiener Philharmoniker ” on the top.
