The coin is struck by The Perth Mint from 999 pure silver in specimen quality.
Original 2020 Koala Design
The reverse of each coin portrays a koala holding onto a tree branch. The inscription ‘AUSTRALIAN KOALA’, The Perth Mint’s traditional ‘P’ mintmark, the 2020 year-date, and the weight and purity are also included in the design.
The obverse of each coin bears the effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and the monetary denomination.
