Description
Struck in 999.9 fine gold, 2020 Year of the rat Chinese Almanac coins are issued as part of the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s Fourth Chinese Almanac Coin Series (2017 – 2028). The coins feature the rat against the backdrop of the Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve, Singapore’s first ASEAN Heritage Park. The obverse of each coin bears the Singapore Coat of Arms with the year 2020.
Obverse: Features the Singapore Coat of Arms, along with the year of issue (2020) . The inscription “Singapore” and the year of issuance are prominently displayed.
Reverse: Dedicated to the Year of the Rat, showcasing an artistic representation of a Rat along with the coin’s face value of $5.
Mintage:3000 pieces , Limited mintage numbers are common for such collectible coins, making them highly sought after by collectors and investors.
