 User Agreement

This User Agreement (“Agreement”) serves as a reference guide to provide the Customer (“You”) with a concise and comprehensive understanding of the policies and procedures for purchasing precious metals with Silver & Gold, via GoldSilverCentral.com.sg (“GSC”) via the website. Before placing an order to purchase from GSC, you first must create an online account. You must then read and accept all of the terms and conditions set forth in this Agreement, including, without limitation, the terms and conditions provided.

GoldSilver Central reserves the right to amend this User Agreement from time to time. The User Agreement deems to take effect once it is updated on the website. This would give all users of the website sufficient time to get acquainted to the new agreement.

10 Feb 2020 GSC Notice on Updated terms of payment + 2 months free storage

Effective immediately, clients who place online orders will have 2 months' worth of Free Storage at GoldSilver Central from their date of purchase. There will be no additional costs for such arrangements ie. If your order date is on the 10th February 2020, you have until 9th April 2020 to collect your items. Your items will still be packed upon receipt of the order by our Operations team, and not only during delivery. Hence clients need not worry about facing inventory issues.Thereafter, Storage will be charged as per our website (Refer to Storage webpage).

            1. To minimize the risk of defaults and non-payment, our Payment Terms will be updated to 30 minutes. This will help our sales team to follow up on clients’ orders and ensure that GoldSilver Central will not be exposed to dishonourable orders during this period of time. Dishonourable orders occur when clients place orders on our website, but thereafter cancel/create new orders upon a lower spot price. This is not allowed as orders placed on our website are mutually binding. Ie. If prices do increase thereafter, we will still adhere to the same price as when the order was made, and not the higher price valuation. The reason for this is that GoldSilver Central practices a hedging-based model, which allows us to focus on value-adding to our clients instead of worrying about price fluctuations.  (To find out more about what is a hedging-based model, follow our blog updates as we regularly share our insights into the precious metals industry.)

    Price Confirmations and Binding Agreement

    After you have made an order, a detailed order confirmation e-mail will be sent to you from GSC within one business day (‘Order Confirmation’). The receipt of an Order Confirmation from GSC means that you have entered into a binding agreement to purchase bullion at the specified price. The price at which your order is submitted is being referred to as the locked-in price. To prevent any confusion, proof of sending the email is evidence of receipt, unless a delivery failure notification is received by GSC within six hours of sending the Order Confirmation.

    GSC reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event that GSC is unable for whatsoever reason to procure any or adequate bullion to satisfy your order, or if customer payment is not received within the Payment Timeframe specified, or when the confirmed price is incorrect, whether due to computer-related problems or otherwise, pricing error or sudden movements in the precious metals market or export/import restriction. Furthermore, we reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order deemed questionable, suspicious or of significant risk to GSC regardless of payment method and price confirmation.

    GSC will buy back silver bought from customers at spot price with an optional premium. The customer has to produce the invoice from GSC in order to obtain this price. The purchase price and conditions of selling silver that is not bought from us will be done on a case-by-case basis. The selling of silver will only occur in the office of GSC and not through emails or the website.

    Payment

    All sales are final.  They are not cancellable, refundable or returnable.  The full amount of the order must be paid within 30 minutes.  However, if your payment is not received within 30 minutes of the order date, GSC will have the option to cancel your order and the customer will be subjected to market loss policy and an admin fee of $50. In the prevention of Anti-Money Laundering, GSC does not accept any third-party payment.

    Payment Options

    GoldSilver Central accepts payments by:

    i.) Cash payment on collection in SGD only. We do not accept USD in cash.

    ii.) Credit Card Payment (In Store Only) (2021 Update: Not available at this moment until further notice.)

    iii.) Cashier's cheque in either SGD or USD

    iv.) Personal Cheque deposit in either SGD or USD (Please cross your cheque and write the invoice number on the reverse side, Please also make it payable to GoldSilver Central Pte Ltd)

    v. ) International Wire or wire transfer in either SGD or USD
    *USD payment can only be accepted via International Wire or bank transfer to our USD accounts. Cash payments in USD are not accepted.

    Note: For cheque payments and international wire or wire transfers, please allow at least 3 working days before the credit will show up in our account

    All sales are final.  They are not cancellable, refundable or returnable. In an event of a cancellation, the customer will be subjected to a market loss policy and a admin fee of $50 which is subjected to GST.

    Pickup of bullions

    Privacy Policy

    By providing us with your personal data/information, you have agreed to let us use them for the purpose of facilitating marketing initiatives when deemed fit. As a promise to uphold your privacy, the personal data/information will strictly not be disclosed to any third parties without your written consent and acknowledgement.

    GSC respects your right to privacy. Therefore, GSC, will not sell, share or exchange your information with any third party, without your consent or approval.  All personal information is maintained with the utmost care and strictest confidence to avoid any misuse or alteration.

    Investment Disclaimer

    Precious metals markets are volatile and the value of precious metals may go down as well as up. There is no guarantee, explicit or implied, of the future value of any of the precious metal products that we sell. Accordingly, investments in precious metals involve a degree of risk which may make them unsuitable for certain individuals. You should carefully consider the suitability of an investment in precious metals as a personal investment and if needs be should consider seeking independent professional advice before proceeding.

    Limited Liability

    GSC assumes no liability or responsibility for orders placed on GoldSilverCentral.com.sg.  GSC will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by reliance on information obtained in any of our newsletters, literature, reports, e-mail correspondence, website, or any other communication from GSC. Moreover, GSC will not incur liability for errors or omissions in such communication.

    However, if it is determined that GSC is liable to you in connection with any transaction pursuant to this Agreement, the liability to GSC shall be limited to the amount you paid in such transaction and GSC shall not be liable for any consequential, exemplary or indirect damages.
    GSC reserves the right to modify any product or service information contained on our website or in any publication without notifying current or prospective subscribers or customers.  In no event shall GSC be held liable for any indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages arising from the use of the information contained on our website or in any publication.

    Market Loss Policy

    Once an order is submitted and a confirmation number (invoice number) is given, the transaction is valid and it may not be cancelled unless the individual is willing to bear the difference in the ask price based on our current ask price, if any, and an additional SGD$50.00 cancellation fee. Any market gain in price will not be refunded.

    Termination

    You or GSC may terminate this Agreement, with or without cause, at any time by written notice to the other party. The termination shall not affect the rights or obligations of you and GSC with respect to the period prior to termination. 

    Your Ledger Account

     Clients with advance payment with GSC shall have the amount reflected in their Cash Ledger Account with GSC.  Should your GSC Ledger Account has any funds credited erroneously, you accept the responsibility to advise us when becoming aware of it and agree to cooperate in the re-assignment of such funds to the rightful depositor.

     Unidentifiable Funds

    Where GSC is unable to identify the Ledger account to be credited, and it is not possible to return the funds to their source, client funds remaining in our suspense account for a period of 5 years or more may – at GSC's discretion - be accumulated and irrevocably be designated to any contribution that GSC deemed fit.
