This 1oz coin is struck from 999.9 fine gold and features a beautifully detailed design honoring those born under the sign of the Goat.
Lunar Goat Design
The reverse features a detailed, long-haired male goat with prominent curved horns standing on a rocky, mountainous terrain with stylized pine tree growing out of a rocky outcrop on the right side. The design is completed by the Chinese character for ‘Goat,’ the inscription ‘Goat 2027,’ and The Perth Mint’s ‘P’ mintmark as well as “WR” which is the initials of the designer (Wade Robinson) near the bottom-left base.
The coin’s obverse bears the Dan Thorne effigy of His Majesty King Charles III, along with the coin’s weight, fineness (999.9 fine gold), and its monetary denomination of AUD $100.
